Here is the complete 1968 Country Music Awards telecast, hosted by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Also included are all the original Kraft commercials with countless delectable food ideas. A couple thoughts on the awards:
- 1968 was a good year to be in the wig business. Even the men had big hair, although theirs may have been real.
- I think Jeannie C. Riley's outfit for this ceremony must have been the inspiration for Bjork's infamous swan outfit.
- There was a time when all the acceptances speeches could be under 30 seconds.
