They Won't Believe
I am always excited when I find a Dorothy Love Coates performance that I have not seen before. Here is Coates and the Gospel Harmonettes with "They Won't Believe". This sounds to me like a song that she wrote, but I don't know that for a fact.

Dorothy Love Coates
One of my first posts was to mark the passing of Mildred Howard, who was a member of Dorothy Love Coates and the Gospel Harmonettes. So Dorothy Love Coates was in those videos, but I am going to post some more of her videos today. She wrote some of her own songs, but I am not sure if any of these are ones she wrote.
"The Winner"
"I'm Just Holding On"
There is no video for "That's All Right With Me", but I like the song so I am just posting the audio.

Mildred Howard Tribute
One of my favorite vocal groups of all time is Dorothy Love Coates and the Gospel Harmonettes. Mildred Howard, one of the founding members of the Gospel Harmonettes, died last month. This post is a tribute to her.
In this video Howard has a lead part. She is on the far left, and sings lead second.
Here is an early video of the group is doing "You Must Born Again".
There is a video of Howard, many years later, singing lead on the same sang as in the previous video. That video will not embed, so you have to follow this link to see it.
