Admittedly I didn't know she was still alive, but singer Kay Starr died yesterday at 94 years old. She accomplished a lot despite the fact that she started out singing to chickens. Here she is performing "I Really Don't Want To Know".

Exactly Like You
Despite the fact that I was unsuccessful in finding a live performance of "Man with the Bag" by Kay Starr, I did find this little gem. Here is "Exactly Like You" from 2005, performed by Starr at 83, accompanied by a 92 year old Les Paul on guitar.

This video is a bit saccharine, but I do like Trisha Yearwood's singing "Sweet Little Jesus Boy"
From the Cats of Cool, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Darlene Love's version of this was in yesterday post. I am posting this if for no other reason than to show that there was actually a time when you could go on television and sing Christmas carols while smoking a cigarette.
