After the Goldrush

I posted this video several years back, but it is probably my all time favorite performance of harmony singing. Plus whoever thought to add a glass harmonica to this was a genius. So here is Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt performing Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush".

From almost 45 years ago, Linda Ronstadt's first appearance on the Johnny Cash Show.  Ronstadt covers Waylon Jennings' "The Only Daddy That'll Walk the Line" then duets with Johnny on the Carter Family's "I Never Will Marry".

This is my 750th post on my music blog, but this is one of my sadder posts. Linda Ronstadt announced last year that she is no longer able to sing because of Parkinson's Disease. This is the loss of a great voice. Here are three videos probably from the 70's or 80's.
