"Dimming of the Day" has been recorded many times. It is on Alison Krauss' latest album, and I included a preview video in this previous post. This is such a great song that I have decided to post a couple more versions of it.

The song was written by Richard Thompson, so here is a version by Richard, and his then wife, Linda.
