Laying Around
Considering that it is Saturday, and way too hot to go outside, here are a couple songs about laying around. This first song was a big hit a couple years ago, but I just recently became familiar with it from the soundtrack of the Unknown Warrior film I posted a couple weeks ago.
"Chasing Cars" - Snow Patrol
"Last Request" - Paulo Nutini
"I Should Get Up" - Teddy Thompson

Leonard Cohen Covers
Today three of the best covers of Leonard Cohen Songs.
I know that Jeff Buckley had a big hit with this song, but I like this version of "Hallelujah" done by K.D. Lang.
Teddy Thompson performed this song in the film Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man. He is a live version of him singing "Tonight Will Be Fine".
Madeleine Peyroux record this on her album Careless Love. Here she is performing "Dance Me To The End Of Love".
