Johnny at Glastonbury
I don't normally post video of entire concerts, but given that today is the 13 anniversary of Johnny Cash's death, I am going to make an exception today. This video is the complete performance of Cash's 1994 concert at The Glastonbury Festival in England. This concert followed shortly after the release of his first American Recordings album, after his abandonment by the major recording companies. The concert starts out with performances of some of his biggest hits. Then Johnny performs solo acoustic versions of some of the songs his American Recordings album. Following that, there are a couple Johnny and June duets. Johnny then plays two harmonicas on "Orange Blossom Special". The concert ends with an encore of "A Boy Named Sue".
After the Goldrush
I posted this video several years back, but it is probably my all time favorite performance of harmony singing. Plus whoever thought to add a glass harmonica to this was a genius. So here is Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt performing Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush".
